Business Station, in partnership with Edith Cowan University have now opened the Allied Health Precinct in Wanneroo.
Centrally located in Wanneroo in the already thriving ECU Health Centre, the precinct is an industry specific incubator for allied health or allied to health professionals.
The incubator is the first of its kind, supporting health-based businesses with space and services to accelerate growth and ultimate success. Businesses who provide allied or complementary medicine services (including alternative therapies or services) as well as any business that provides services directly to the health sector are invited to join the incubator.
Offering more than just office / consulting space, the Allied Health Precinct will be offering services to members including:
- Business Structure Advice
- Strategic direction and goal setting
- Accountability and peer group advisory sessions
- Marketing advice and support
- Referrals to capital raising opportunities
- Administrative and reception support
- Business workshops and webinars
Given the nature of the health sector and the strong need for referrals from other practitioners as a lead generation activity, cross fertilization between members, mentors and ECU is also a strong selling point.
The precinct features 26 serviced offices, a 12 desk co-working space as well as meeting rooms and training rooms that can be hired on an hourly basis. Whilst the offices are exclusively available to allied health professionals, the shared spaces can be hired by anyone in the community.
