PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is intended for anyone serious about starting a new business. It is the first of a series of 4 workshops designed to make your business idea a reality.
As such, it is a pre-requisite for this event that you will need to have undertaken some business commencement activities, have less than 20 employees, intending to operate your business for profit and if already available, provide your ABN.
Starting a business requires a lot of effort and commitment. As well as registering your business for an ABN, in this workshop we will cover many key elements to be considered before starting up a new business including:

- Come along prepared with questions pertaining to starting up your new business.

Cesira has extensive business experience having owned and operated an internationally award winning clean-tech start-up, as well as a sustainability consulting business for over 16 years. She has a good understanding of what’s needed to take a start-up or small business through from inception to growth; and can empathise with the ups and downs of small business life. Cesira has a background in organisation development, change management and human resources. With a passion for the environment and social justice, she also has qualifications in sustainable development and has worked in the fields of environmental auditing and sustainability management. Her career has spanned a range of industries including resources, healthcare, local, state and federal Government and not for profits. As Digital Business Advisor for the ASBAS program, Cesira loves to see small businesses thrive and relishes the opportunity to assist in their growth through building resiliency and innovation. In her spare time, Cesira loves spending time with her family, doing yoga and travelling. With her passion for sustainability, she also likes to keep a close eye on the clean-tech development space.
