Women in Small Business Lunch and Learn

Presented by Business Station

An exciting initiative between the City of Joondalup and Business Station, providers of the highly sought after ASBAS program, is set to redefine ways women owners of small businesses elevate success.

A Lunch and Learn series will run each month commencing May through to July. Using local business venues, we will have three awesome female speakers booked who will leave you in no doubt as to the collective wisdom and potential of women in business.

Each event sets out to inspire conversation and challenge our thinking around topics that confront us every day in our businesses, homes, and our communities.

Each luncheon will focus on a question. The first question will be: "Can you juggle business, home and leisure - Can you have it all?"
The aim will be to get to the heart of the questions, and to encourage discussions through a Q & A session at the end of each program.

Our panel will feature our first guest speaker of the series, the inspiring Dr Amanda Ling, who will no doubt leave us all feeling empowered; an ASBAS representative who will introduce you to the world of digital solutions and traditional methods of business topics to help elevate your business success, and a City of Joondalup representative.

You will hear how the federal government has heavily funded the Australian Small Business Advisory Service (ASBAS) program for business owners looking to upskill and further their success through a multitude of workshops, 1:1 strategic advisory session, and webinars, and how easy it is for you to access.

For every one of you who registers for ASBAS, you will receive a valuable 1:1 advisory session. Through participation at one of these lunches, you will be eligible to enter for one of 30 scholarships to access a further three 1:1 advisory sessions with experienced, established and reputable ASBAS advisors.

Diarise the dates below to ensure you gain a seat at the table – they are capped at 30 attendees to ensure each event is small enough for total inclusion.

The first in the WISB series kicks off Thursday, 27 May at the Tuart Room, Joondalup Resort. 11.45am for 12noon start, 2pm finish.

Amanda has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from a diverse background in public and private health.
