Kevin Mcquillan is a farmer from far North Queensland who wanted to create something that would make life easier when camping in addition to being the perfect at-home entertainer, and so the Saviour BBQ was born. Through the help of the Digital Solutions program, Kevin was able to make his dream a reality by setting up his business and receiving advice on digital marketing and setting up a website.
Prior to being a Digital Solutions client, Kevin had little understanding of how to sell his BBQ online or advertise his business via social media. With help from advisor Clinton Begg, Kevin was able to create a website for Saviour BBQ (saviourbbq.com.au), as well as a Facebook and Instagram page to promote his business to existing and potential customers.
Not only did Clinton’s wide range of knowledge, skills and experience improve Kevin’s digital capabilities and help him start selling and advertising online, additionally Kevin said he received a government grant to assist him with starting his business and he had Clinton to thank for helping him with the process.
