Zel Iscel was born blind and arrived in Australia with her family at the age of six. She began her education with no English but learned quickly.

Zel completed her degree in Politics and Government at Edith Cowan University in 2003 and became involved in disability advocacy while at university.

After her graduation, Zel lived and worked in London for two years. On her return, she began working at the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre which fights for the rights and interests of people with disability from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Since then she has worked in disability at state, national and international levels.

In 2014 Zel established her DISABILITY CONSULTANCY, Inclusive World, through which she provides disability awareness training and advice on matters impacting on people with disability including access to the web.

In 2016 Zel joined forces with David Ashton – specialist in organisational management, strategy and growth – and Julie Richardson – expert in human resource management, business management and training, strategic and organisational reviews – and ‘The Include Program’ was formed! The partnership of the three professionals ensures that advice provided to businesses is well balanced between government and business requirements, the need to be inclusive of all who may benefit from the business in an affordable manner and the need to be profitable.
