Garry Johnson
As the past CEO of global footwear brand Steel Blue boots, Garry has led the brands expansion into Europe, UK, Africa, Middle East and USA. After taking on the CEO role in 2009, Garry has been working to maintain the brand’s reputation as a sector innovator and leader.
Garry is highly experienced in strategy, banking, finance and accountancy having previously held executive leadership roles at Bankwest and Westpac.
Garry has had an ongoing commitment to the Not For Profit sector through his work with the HBOSA Foundation, Rocky Bay and partnership programs established with Breast Cancer Care WA and Beyond Blue.

Anthony Denford
Anthony is currently employed as the Manager Future Planning at the City of Gosnells and prior to this as a senior urban designer and project manager with the multi-national design consultancy of Roberts Day. Before commencing these positions he was employed as an urban designer and project manager with Cardno BSD and as an urban planner at the local government authorities of Vincent, Belmont and Stirling.

Agnes Vacca is a seasoned professional with three decades of experience in advisory and compliance services in Western Australia. With a well-rounded skill set, Agnes is a trusted advisor to many businesses, offering a diverse range of financial and strategic expertise.
Agnes collaborates closely with business owners, financial teams and managers, leveraging her expertise to develop and implement results-driven business strategies. This includes finance process improvement, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, sensitivity analysis and business planning. A standout area of specialisation for Agnes is her work with family businesses, guiding them through succession, transition and exit readiness, ensuring that owners achieve their long-term goals.

John O’Neill

John O’Neill
John is an Economic Development and Tourism professional with extensive experience in both Local Government and in the corporate arena.
He is the Manager Economic Development, Tourism, Holiday Parks and Visitor Centres at the Shire of East Pilbara, Australia's largest local government area and the centre of Australia's mining, minerals and energy industries.
Previously he worked at the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale running Economic Development and Tourism at Australia's fasting growing local government, and was involved in helping attract over $3 billion in public and private sector investment into the Shire over a 6 year period.
John has an impressive track record in the corporate arena having been an executive at Westpac and Commonwealth Bank as well as a senior executive at the Perron Group, one of Australia's largest private companies where he was responsible for the retail operations of their Toyota WA and Mercedes Benz businesses.
John is also Chair of the Advisory Board of Curtin University's School of Economics and a CEDA WA Trustee. He is also the Past Chair of Economic Development Australia WA Board.
John has a great interest in advocating for, and supporting Small Business and is keen to contribute towards its growth and success.

Jackie is a senior-level marketing professional with a broad range of industry sector experience covering both B2B and B2C. A passionate Marketer with demonstrated results, Jackie has been instrumental in the business growth, brand awareness and sales achievements of well-known brands in Australia, including Steel Blue boots, Thermomix in Australia & New Zealand, ENJO cleaning products, & Australia's Mining Monthly.
Jackie is skilled in Marketing Strategy across National and International markets, Digital Strategy, Sales and Business Plans, Public Relations, Social Media Marketing, and the creative development of Retail Promotions.
Her industry sector experience includes FMCG, Retail, Food & Hospitality, Mining, Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Footwear, Publishing, Direct Selling and Government. Jackie is MBA qualified (finishing in Top 10 of all graduating students), Curtin University of Technology.
She is also the founder of Lyrebird Marketing, a marketing consulting business in Perth, and brings invaluable skills and experience to our Board.

Colin Jorgensen has 30 + year experience in manufacturing, wholesale/ distribution models and business coaching. He is an experienced Chief Executive Officer that supervises and controls all strategic and business aspects of the company as well as the direction in creating a vision for success. Colin has been involved in Start-ups and owned and operated family business models.
Apart from his high expertise as CEO, he is a seasoned business owner, who has significantly grown and helped other business to attain next phase of success, with his strong and diversified business expertise and ability to combine highest level strategic thinking, different perspectives, wise counselling and an accountability framework to achieve long-term sustainable value.
As CEO for Business Station, Colin’s vision is to develop support small business through the development of a variety of support programs and systems including incubators, formal and informal training opportunities, business coaching and help with business strategy.
Colin also is a philanthropist & is chairman of Foxglove Project – empowering women, and transforming communities in different developing countries.
In his spare time, Colin enjoys spending time with his family at his house in the hills, travelling, cooking and playing the drums in a gigging rock band!

Karl has over 15 years of experience in the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) industry. He’s worked in every role you can imagine within an RTO. His wealth of experience and passion for the education drives him to achieve operational efficiency, superior customer service, quality training with successful outcomes and financial sustainability. Karl’s ultimate goal at Training Station Australia is to propel growth across new educational industries.
Vocational Education (VET) is a passion for Karl and even though it’s worth in Australia and internationally is underestimated, he believes it’s highly rewarding.

During Paul’s career he has identified that in today’s competitive world, the best way to ensure organisational success is to delight the customer. Today and tomorrow’s customers want responsiveness, reasonable cost and high quality in products & services. If a company does not meet or exceed the customer’s needs & expectations their competition will?
Starting his career as a qualified 5 star chef and travelling the world to learn and increase personal development and eventually leaving the corporate world to become a business and marketing strategist, Paul brings with him some key strength in multi-site retail & franchise operations and experience in running and owning many successful and diverse businesses.
Paul believes a good management philosophy is that “Systems run the Business” and “People run the Systems” with this in mind business owners can free up more time to do the things they need or enjoy doing.
It’s no longer enough simply to “embrace” change, continuous improvement must become a way of doing business, when Paul works with his clients and customers, together they actively seek improvements and set systems and processes that support and drive initiative with trust is the key. As a business and marketing strategist, Paul is mindful of developing an environment so that people work without fear, within a culture that encourages pride in both personnel and organization accomplishments.
Passionate about having a balanced level between work and family, with 4 kids, Paul believes there is an importance in spending quality time at home. As the say” You can spend all your money and keep making more but once you have spent your time it gone forever.”

Trevor brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Industrial, Construction and Safety industries to the Business Station team. Trevor is an experienced State Manager with multiple sales and management roles over his career and his training as a Boilermaker leads him to take a hands-on approach to all challenges.
As the Manager of our ECU Business and Innovation Centre in Joondalup, Trevor is approachable and will do whatever he can to ensure the needs of our members are met. He is responsible for maintaining the strength and stability of the centre, making sure our services are top-notch and providing guidance and support to our small business residents.
Trevor’s interests include music, working as the mechanic for a successful Perth Go Kart team, completing home renovations and being a proud Grandfather.

Having been a small business owner for many years with her husband John, Anne-Kit is passionate about helping small businesses not only to succeed, but to thrive! She is a great “encourager” and has the ability get along with all kinds of people.

If you’ve ever visited or called our Gosnells incubator, you would have met Kasey! Kasey is our Incubator Coordinator in Gosnells. In her role, Kasey is responsible for:
- Incubator support
- Administration
- Room bookings
- Site inductions
- Tenant and client liaison
- All day-to-day operations
Basically, Kasey makes sure the incubator is running smoothly and efficiently (and the vending machine is always well stocked with chocolates!).
Kasey has significant experience working in customer service, having previously held reception roles in the service industry.
In her spare time Kasey says she is mostly chasing after her kids, but also enjoys reading a good crime novel or something psychology related.
