“We’re a social enterprise supporting mental health and making Australia’s best beef jerky. We named this business after Adam’s mate Nick, who tragically lost his life to suicide a few years ago.”
Digital Solutions Advisor Greg Mawer recently teamed up with his mate Adam to launch a beef jerky company with a mission.
“We wanted to do something to make a difference. We’re just a couple of simple blokes. We can’t cure cancer or solve climate change. We made the decision to create a social enterprise to do our part and we’re donating 50% of our profits to organisations that support mental health. Our jerky is handmade in small batches in our butcher shop. We’ve tried and tested countless iterations to make what we (and many of our customers) believe is Australia’s best beef jerky.”
Despite Greg being an experienced business advisor in his own right, and one of the advisors of our Digital Solutions program, he knows that it takes a team to run a successful business. So he reached out to digital marketing advisor Kasia McNaught and joined Digital Solutions with Nick’s Jerky.
